Dear State Representative:

I am a recording artist/professional that has lost a substantial amount of my revenue and royalties due to Internet piracy and illegal downloading of my music through illegal peer-to-peer networks. I am also a resident of this State that pays my taxes, contributes to political campaigns, and strongly influences voters. The utilization of the current illegal P2P music technologies has been the culprit for my and other industry professionals’ losses and has created a state of anarchy in the copyright laws, which has also been a challenge that the State has not yet been able to meet.

Today, I am presenting you with two technical solutions for the music piracy issue: “Clouseau® & Windows® + Transport Control®”, developed by SafeMedia Corp. I am advocating the Clouseau® & Windows® + Transport Control® solutions because they are well tested and proven to completely eradicate the massive theft of music created by the illegal P2P technology. Clouseau® & Windows® + Transport Control® provide the music industry protection from Internet piracy and give the recording artists/professionals a chance to stop their losses from the culprit of illegal downloading and illegal P2P networks. This also gives the State a chance to uphold the current anti-piracy statutes and enforce the copyright laws.

You should advocate for Clouseau® & Windows® + Transport Control® by linking funding to the implementation of SafeMedia’s Clouseau® & Windows® + Transport Control® in all colleges, educational, and public institutions currently funded by the State. This approach will eliminate a large percentage of the current theft of music and other copyrighted files on the Internet statewide.

I suggest you move forward in strengthening the penalties and statutes for music Internet piracy; it’s clear that the pirates are making a choice to be criminals, and they need to be stopped. I am asking you to act decisively and swiftly in upholding your current statutes and presenting Clouseau®’s & Windows® + Transport Control®’s case and voting to exterminate blatant violation of copyright laws.
