Dear City Councilman:

I am a recording artist/industry professional that has lost a substantial amount of revenue and royalties due to the Internet piracy and the illegal downloading of my music files through illegal peer-to-peer networks. I am also a resident of this city that pays my taxes, contributes to political campaigns, and strongly influences voters. The utilization of current illegal P2P music technology on the Internet has been the main culprit of Internet piracy and has created a state of anarchy in the copyright law, which has been a challenge that the City Council has yet to meet.

Today, I am presenting you with two technical solutions for the Internet music piracy issue: “Clouseau® & Windows® + Transport Control®”, developed by SafeMedia Corp. I am asking you to act decisively and swiftly by presenting bills and voting on them to exterminate blatant violation of copyright laws.
