Senior Unix Software Developer

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, development, implementation and testing of our “On-Disk” and “Appliance” platform.
• Support SafeMedia product lines.
• Interface with other development teams, technical support and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• 3-4+ years of experience with UNIX, with a preference for BSD (FreeBSD or other).
• 3-4+ years of experience with open source software development.
• Fluent in C, Perl, Shell. C++ a plus.
• Must have extensive hands-on knowledge and experience in all aspects of networking, network protocols, network topology, encryption, TCP/IP, audio no hash real-time digital filters, P2P, audio watermarking and finger printing, SSL, audio active content, DRM, intelligent switches, etc.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Kernel development experience mandatory.
• BSCS degree.
