Senior Microsoft Windows Software Developer

Job Description:

• In-depth knowledge of development systems software.
• Acting as an internal technical consultant, analyzing and recommending productivity improvement approaches, developing and applying development methodologies
• Significant knowledge of and experience with programming languages and software development techniques.
• Competent to work independently on complex and highly complex applications development activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft MSDN, visual studio and Compuware kernel driver development software.
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
• Self-motivated/takes initiative.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to write code that is maintainable, extendible and has minimal bugs.
• Ability to understand requirements, and ask appropriate questions for clarification as necessary.
• Ability to analyze marketing requirements and external prototypes and to identify design and implementation alternatives.
• Ability to understand and adhere to the project goal without necessarily agreeing with it.

Requirements:

• 3-4+ years of experience with Microsoft operating systems and kernel drivers
• 3-4+ years of experience with open source software development.
• Fluent in C, Perl, Shell. C++ a plus and Compuware kernel driver development software.
• Must have extensive hands-on knowledge and experience in all aspects of networking, network protocols, network topology, encryption, TCP/IP, audio no hash real-time digital filters, P2P, audio watermarking and finger printing, SSL, audio active content, DRM, intelligent switches, etc.
• Specific knowledge of Philips /Sony CD specifications and ISO 9660.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Kernel development experience mandatory.
• This type of person has strong working knowledge of an applications development language/package, program design, and applications development methodology.
• Acting as an internal technical consultant, analyzing and recommending productivity improvement approaches, developing and applying development methodologies.
• BSCS degree.
